The StarFire 6000 Reciever
The StarFire 6000 is our new generation receiver, uniting leading edge receiver technology and yet again defining a new standard of ultimate accuracy and signal stability.
The StarFire 6000 works seamlessly with all accuracy levels and John Deere guidance systems. Second to none the StarFire 6000 inherited the field proven Terrain Compensation Module (TCM) to automatically compensate roll, pitch and yaw of the vehicle, while GLONASS compatibility remains in base. SF1 accuracy has further improved, being far superior to EGNOS and continues to be free of charge.
Introducing "Triple StarFire Accuracy", the new SF3 correction signal with "In-Season-Repeatability" and up to four times quicker pull-in time, as well as further enhanced RTK solutions such as 14-days of "RTK Extend", the StarFire 6000 receiver already today is ready to compete with the future.
Last but not least, to provide you peace of mind, the StarFire 6000 is now also available with a locking device.
GreenStar™ 3 2630 Display
The John Deere GreenStar™ 3 (GS3) 2630 Display is a 26-cm (10.4-in.) color display that features a full-color touchscreen for controlling a variety of precision applications, machines, and implements. The GS3 2630 Display also allows operators to set up multiple home pages and navigate to each homepage easily and efficiently, all while other applications are in use. The GS3 2630 Display is specifically designed for producers who desire maximum efficiency, productivity, and premium features.
Gen 4 4640 Universal Display
The 4640 Universal Display provides the latest redesign and improved operating experience for legacy John Deere tractor and mixed-fleet operators loaded with the following benefits:
- A quickly learnable display resulting in reduced training, less expensive downtime, and fewer operator mistakes
- Improved data capture and collection capabilities – providing more accurate Section Control performance and documentation
- An expanding suite of Precision Ag applications - including performance and usability enhancements in applications such as AutoTrac™ assisted steering system, Section Control, documentation, and Wireless Data Transfer (WDT)
StarFire™ 3000 Receiver
The StarFire™ 3000 Receiver is a 66-channel, multi-frequency differential Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver. Standard features on the StarFire 3000 Receiver include access to satellite signals from both the GPS and GLONASS satellites for SF1, SF2, or RTK correction level. This receiver offers true 3-D integrated terrain compensation and upgradable accuracy.
These features allow the StarFire 3000 Receiver to provide more reliable positioning in areas with intermittent satellite availability or in other uncontrollable satellite environments. The StarFire 3000 Receiver also responds faster and more accurately to changes in terrain. The level of accuracy can be increased on the StarFire 3000 Receiver without having to purchase a new receiver.
John Deere RTK Radio 450
The John Deere RTK Radio 450 is designed to be used in areas with challenging terrain or dense foliage conditions to maintain signal coverage and maintain RTK accuracy where the John Deere RTK Radio signal strength is not sufficient.
The John Deere RTK Radio 450 is needed to obtain RTK accuracy and is paired with a StarFire™ 3000 Receiver and can be used on a base station or machine. This radio also can serve as a repeater when paired with a StarFire 3000 Receiver.
John Deere Generation 4 CommandCenter
The 4100 and 4600 CommandCenter, also known as the Generation 4 CommandCenter, creates the primary user interface for 6R, 7R, 8R/8RT and 9R/9RT Tractors. The Generation 4 CommandCenter provides an excellent, user-savvy operating experience.Producers can also use a variety of implements with the Generation 4 CommandCenter as it is ISOBUS virtual terminal (VT) capable. Expect machine productivity gains, along with increased operator confidence thanks to a simple, customizable interface. Eliminate the guess work behind managing soil moisture. John Deere Field Connect provides producers and trusted advisors site-specific management information through soil moisture and environmental sensor offerings, facilitating the decision process surrounding crop production.
iGrade is an activation that enables the automation of water management applications, including John Deere’s water management tool, Surface Water Pro™ Plus. iGrade offers the ability to generate a basic plane and grade, as well as perform distance-based tasks – all while automatically controlling the height of the scraper blade. iGrade provides the following applications to complete different tasks:

Application Controller 1100 iSteer™
John Deere Application Controller 1100 enables the use of two different products, John Deere Active Implement Guidance, and iGrade™. This single controller allows customers to benefit from active implement guidance and automated land leveling.
The Application Controller must have an activation associated with it, either an iGrade activation or an Active Implement Guidance activation – or both.
John Deere Section Control
John Deere Section Control automatically turns implement sections on or off to reduce overlap and improve input management. John Deere Section Control can be utilized on planters, air seeders, sprayers, and nutrient applicators on any approved ISOBUS compatible implement. John Deere Section Control is available only on the GreenStar™ 3 2630 Display.
GreenStar Rate Controller
The GreenStar™ (GS) Rate Controller is a component that allows the GreenStar display to integrate with many implements, such as non-John Deere pull-type sprayers, anhydrous ammonia applicators, liquid manure spreaders, liquid fertilizer systems, and some planters.
John DeereRate Controller 2000
The John Deere Rate Controller 2000 is a drop in replacement for GreenStarTM (GS) Rate Controller equipped implements using the GreenStar 3 2630 Display. As a drop in replacement, it utilizes existing extension and product harnessing plus an adapter cable available in the attachments Price Page.
GreenStar Rate Controller Dry
The GreenStar Rate Controller Dry is a component that allows the GreenStar 3 2630 Display to integrate with non-John Deere self-propelled and pull-type dry box spinner spreaders and multi-tank air carts.
Harvest ID Cotton
John Deere Harvest Identification (ID), Cotton is simplifying the production of round cotton modules. Utilizing the radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags embedded in the round module wrap John Deere Harvest Identification, Cotton reads each unique serial number of the module and compiles it into a file that is easily sent to the gin. John Deere Harvest ID eliminates the need for cotton producers to manually tag round modules produced by the 7760 Self-Propelled Cotton Picker.

MyJohnDeere – Operations Center is the platform for products and services that improve machine uptime, logistics management and agronomic decision making in a centralized location to help plan, run, and manage an operation.
JDLink is John Deere's telematics system with an easy, reliable connection between the grower and their machines. It is designed for producers, dealers, and equipment managers who desire to take their operations to the next level of productivity. Using the power of JDLink, producers and managers can increase productivity, increase uptime, and lower cost of operation. Information collected by JDLink can easily be accessed from a computer or mobile device. JDLink system enables productivity in these ways and more:

Machine Control and Guidance
AutoTrac is an assisted automated steering system that automatically steers the machine through the field. AutoTrac is one of the best guidance solutions in the market offering operators a hands-free solution.
John Deere designs machines to easily integrate with AutoTrac, resulting in the most comfortable operating experience in the market. Producers simply plug the display into the provided connection inside the cab and attach the receiver to the roof of the cab.

John Deere Machine Sync includes combine harvest automation, harvest logistics, coverage map sharing, and guidance line sharing functionality. This functionality has revolutionized machine-to-machine communication.
John Deere Machine Sync provides the following features:
Combine harvest automation
Combine harvest automation creates a network between a fleet of tractors and combines allowing automation between the combine and the tractor. This facilitates on-the-go unloading by synchronizing tractor speed and direction of travel with the combine and provides greater ease of operation with improved efficiency, resulting in higher productivity during harvest. Combine harvest automation requires each machine to be equipped with a John Deere Machine Communication Radio (MCR).
Productivity gains are credited to tractor/grain cart operator’s ability to be in the right place at the right time with in-field logistics information. The GreenStar™ 3 (GS3) 2630 Display shows in-field logistics including grain
Coverage map sharing
Sharing coverage maps while seeding, spraying, or applying fertilizer allows any John Deere Section Control-enabled machine to trigger section control on/off based on another machine’s coverage. Coverage map sharing, combined with integrated section control, eliminates the opportunity for overlapping or leaving uncovered areas in the field, saving on input costs and increasing yield. When used in a harvest operation, sharing coverage maps allows a machine to better calculate harvested area by using another machine’s coverage to enable overlap control based on the shared coverage. Machines can share coverage using an MCR or MTG 3G solution.

Two vehicles in sync at the same time; there is nothing preventing running more than two machines, but there is not engineering test data in all possible configurations to be able to support more than two machines at this time. Additional vehicles may be added depending on the number of GS applications in use on the 2630 Display.Examples of applications that may influence performance:

The AutoTrac Controller is an integrated AutoTrac solution for older John Deere and non-John Deere tractors. This controller teams up with GreenStar™ components to provide improved performance and operating experience compared to universal steering systems.
For selected models, AutoTrac Controller can utilize the tractor manufacturer’s automatic steering components. These vehicles will be referenced as guidance ready vehicles.
For non-guidance ready vehicles, the AutoTrac Controller kit contains all hydraulic components needed to work with the GreenStar system. The result: AutoTrac Controller maintains the efficiency and comfort offered by an uncluttered and orderly cab.
In addition to the market-proven benefits of AutoTrac, this system optimizes machine efficiency, reduces operator fatigue, and allows the operator to maintain faster working speeds.

CommandCenter AutoTrac Activation provides proven benefits of automatic guidance on the 4600 and 4100 CommandCenter, also known as the Generation 4 CommandCenter. This activation is machine specific, meaning it stays with the machine throughout the life of the machine. A StarFire™ Receiver, the CommandCenter AutoTrac Activation, and a Generation 4 CommandCenter are required to utilize CommandCenter AutoTrac Activation.
AutoTrac offers many benefits including: increasing productivity, maximizing inputs, and an improved operating experience.
Active Implement Guidance
Active Implement Guidance automatically steers the implement onto the desired guidance line. Active Implement Guidance utilizes the Application Controller 1100, a GreenStar™ display, and AutoTrac™ components with a variety of signal levels. These components team up with an implement steering mechanism to provide increased implement precision. With Active Implement Guidance, both the tractor and the implement follow the same guidance line in straight, circle, and curve track modes. Growers who are planting bedded crops, planting row crops, or strip-tilling, as well as those operating in standing row-crop application, can capitalize on the value of Active Implement Guidance. Producers experience many benefits with Active Implement Guidance:
- Ability to maintain high crop quality with multiple passes through the field
- Precise input placement, reducing operator fatigue
- Industry-exclusive implement control at the operator’s fingertips
Tractor-Baler Automation allows for easier operation and reduced operator fatigue after all-day operation. There are two levels of Tractor-Baler Automation. Learn more about the selective control valve (SCV) control option and the SCV and machine speed control option below.
John Deere Machine Communication Radio
The John Deere Machine Communication Radio is a wireless network radio that provides real-time, in-field information exchange between machines. The John Deere Machine Communication Radio is a robust wireless router designed to work in a variety of equipment platforms for machine-to-machine communication.
The John Deere Machine Communication Radio is designed to enable up to ten machines in a single network to distribute data amongst one another at a distance up to 4.8-km (3-mi) radius.
This new radio creates a network between machines in the field allowing them to share logistics information and facilitates on-the-go unloading while harvesting. Both combine and tractor also require the John Deere Machine Sync activation, and the GreenStar™ 3 2630 Display communicating with a StarFire™ 3000 Receiver to capitalize on these benefits.
Training requirements must be completed for Machine Sync prior to this product shipping to meet new model qualification requirements. Integrated Solution (IS) phase assessment of one applies to Machine Sync.
John Deere Machine Communication Radio does not have any associated new model qualifications. John Deere Machine Communication Radio does not have a minimum IS phase assessment.
